Oversees the planning, organizing, directing and executing the City’s Economic Development Program. This is a highly-visible hands-on professional role, responsible for managing impactful business relationships and promoting effective marketing and other initiatives to enhance the City’s economic development efforts. Work is performed under direction and general guidance of the City’s Manager’s Office with considerable latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Candidate must have outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
